by Michael McEwan

The Barramundi is not to be confused with the Australian arrowana which is also called the Barramundi. Although not really aggressive, they have huge mouths and will eat anything that will fit in them. Live foods are preferred, but will eat meat. These fish are said to start as males and become females, but has not been bred. They are found from Asia to Australia and can live in fresh, brackish, or salt water.
