Temperature:...........78-82 F.
Min tank size:..........55 gallons

The Golden Butterflyfish is a brightly colored fish that resembles the Yellow tang. Equally impressive, this fish has a bright yellow body with several narrow darker yellow stripes running vertically along its compressed body. Behing the eye is a dark grey patch that almost resembles a black eye.

This fish works well in a reef tank. They like a well-lit aquarium. Temperature should be high, around 78-82 F. If not provided with adequate amounts of hiding places, these Butterflyfish will not show their bright colors that make them famous, and scare easily.

The Golden Butterflyfish is a timid species, and may lose out to other, more aggressive and active fish at feeding time. Favorite foods include worms, dried foods and algae.
