The Yellow-tailed Damselfish is a small, blue-bodied fish with a yellow tail, hence its name. The colors become less contrasting with age as the colors lose their original intensity.

This fish is a schooler, so at least three per tank is recomended. The Yellowtail Damsel like most other damsels - it's very passive. This fish preferes brine shrimp, blood worms, when larger black worms, and O.S.I. Flakes. It's companions can be small angels, small tangs, other damsels except for jeweled, anthias, and just about any other small passive fish.
