Hi, im not a big fan of hybrids i prefer the originals lol, but i recently purchased two fronts and my crimson tide is chasing one (practically its dancing with it and won't leave it alone).

Both this species are mouthbrooders, and i was wondering would they still mouthbrood without correct partners.

And also i have two crimson tides one a lot smaller then the dancer lol but will the crimson tide get off the fronts or what ???

Any advice on how to prevent this without getting rid of any fish would be appreciated and any advise on fonts too please....

And BTW does any1 know what size when fronts are surposed to be mature ....

Thanks for your time reading this, ill be glas if you can help me :)

Front's are best kept in larger groups, having only 2 won't work in the long run. For plenty of god info on them, check out cichlid-forum.com. There's a forum folder dedicated to front's on that site.

frontosa aren't sexually mature until about three years of age. they're best maintained in groups of 5-6. as juveniles, they're active and can be aggressive but with maturity they become shy and retiring.
