Hi everyone, once again I really need your help.:help:
My lfs recently moved to a new location and bought new tanks. They are selling all of their old display tanks that are between 10 and 20 gallons. All of the big tanks sold quickly but I managed to get a 15 gallon :D(60 liter) tank for a bargain that is good for holding water but otherwise needs work.
They gave the tank a blue background, with paint that has become scratched off and faded. I would like to remove the paint so I can either have it plain or add a new background of my own. What is the best way to remove paint from glass without damaging the glass too much?
Also, the tank used to hold salt water fish (baby barramundi according to the label on the tank). So now there is encrusted salt water on the lid of the tank. This will probably come off with water. Is there anything I need to do to the tank to make it successfully hold freshwater?
