Tank History

Tank has been up and running for a year or year and a half. Tank levels are all good, when i bring water sample into pet shop. I bring water samples with me before i buy any coral or fish to make sure the water is fine for them. Had problems with red slime in the past,i have treated it. Have a problem with hair algae on some spots. Getting a coral banded shrimp to help with britle worm population.

If any ideas or comments please let me know.

nice set up im a bit fuzzy due to a head cold so i might have missed something s o forgive me if i do. coral banded are good for bristle worms but they are very territorial and will usually kill other shrimp even in large aquariums.
i would wait longer for a mandarin and also not go with a powder blue due to their extremely low survival rate. make sure u add the tangs all together so its less likely for them to fight. and seahorses shouldnt really be kept in the reef with a few exceptions you can(ive done it) but it takes tons of effort and time and money to keep the sea horses and only one breed can do good in the reef setting. also its good the nassa snails died because they will kill sick fish before you can rescue them sometimes and to many together eat all the available food and they then turn to starvation or your animals. otherwise good fish pics:) and welcome to AC!
keep us posted on ur progress. any pics?
