Hello all of you wonderful AC people!
I am interested in Kuhli Loaches, but I need to know a couple of things about them first.

According to this website: http://www.aquahobby.com/gallery/e_kuhli.php
they grow to only 7cm long (nearly 3 inches) is this true?

I have a 15 gallon tank, is this a big enough tank for kuhli loaches? If so, how many would you put in? I'm thinking about getting 3 or 4 for each other's company. I am just setting up this tank and it has no other fish in it at the moment.

They can grow to 4 inches long, but they're very skinny, so not near the bioload of another 4 inch fish, and they don't need quite as much room because of how flexible they are.

You could easily fit 4 kuhli loaches in a 15 g tank, assuming it's standard dimensions and not a tall/hex or something.

Make sure your tank has a fully established filter though and all your water parameters are good.
Kuhlis are very sensitive to water quality issues.

Make sure they CAN'T jump out. They will jump out of any open space no matter how small. If you have a power filter they will try to jump up the current and then they will bounce off and land on your hood. From there they will wriggle and jump until they fall behind your tank where you might not notice them.

They love burrowing in the substrate so I suggest sand.
