Do you have to have these things running all the time? How is it set up? How does it work? Is it worth it? And why do you need CO2 for some tanks? Isn't fertilizer enough? Is it safe for fish? How is that set up?

...So many things I don't know...:confused:

Yes. Usually they're run in-line with your filter. Exposes free floating bacteria, algae, etc to ultra violet light. Some say yes, others no. Because plants need Co2 to grow. Yes, sometimes. Is what safe for fish - UV or fertilizer? How is what set up?

I run my Pond size UV on a timer for 12 hours is plenty and the bulb last almost twice a long excellent results
