my frogfish Bubba died today while i was at school...i noticed something was strange this morning when he was not to responsive and when he didnt take food on sunday but i when i checked out the water on sunday the nitrates wer just a little high(~24) and everything else tested out great as always. so i changed out the filter pads and let it be. this moring he looked a bit better and i figured hed be fine.....comes 5pm and hes a big fat dead blob.....just need to vent thats all....thanks for reading. at least hell live on in the video on my blog and maybe ill get him preserved or taxidermied.
 
Wow, even the smartest, most diligent fish keepers lose fish from time to time. I'm so sorry for your loss, but very glad you shared with us. I think sometimes we nubies think we aren't even in the same ballpark as those of you who have been studying and learning about these animals for years, really brings it all into perspective. Thank you for that.
 
Awww, poor fishy. I am sorry for your loss. I am sure he had a great life with you. It sounds like he was spoiled (in a good way).
 
Sorry about your loss :(. I'm sure he was happy with you as his owner.
