polyp question

i bought what i believe are starburst polyps. (green and on a purple mat).
its been 2 days and i have yet to see them again. i just want to know how long before they usually start coming out and are the signs of death for polyps disintigration

did u acclimate the corals? sometimes they will hide a few days if stressed.

DITTO!! But you might want to be sure and do a water test and also make sure they are in an area that recives medium light!

mine took 2 days to fully redevelop and about 4 weeks for the mat grow onto the rock I placed them on.

give them good light & a fair bit of water flow & they should start popping out over the next 24hours of lighting hours

i got some metallic GSP as my first "coral"

i freaked out for like a week because the just wouldn't open. 8 days later they exploded.

i got some starbursts (tiny frag) and it took them a good 4 days. patience!

and dont be too anxious, its normal.
