Hello,

I'm buying the Co2 system from Red Sea and I have a few questions. What is the difference between the standard and the paintball system? Will all Co2 tanks be compatible with it? What other equipment would I need besides the Co2 tank? and are there any recommended online stores where I can buy the Co2 tank? I have no idea where to go look for Co2 tanks in stores.

Thanks in advance

The standard system fits a standard sized cylinder.

The paintball system fits a paintball cylinder.

All standard cylinders will be compatible with the standard system.

Only the correct paintball cylinders will work with the paintball system. There are two major styles of paintball cylinders.

You will also need a check valve, CO2 tubing and a diffusion method.

Before we can recommend a on-line store we really need to know where you live.

In the CO2 section of my Guide I list places to look for full sized cylinders in the US.

Basically you just want a "5LB CO2 Tank" or bigger if you have the room. Call local gas supply stores to see if they have them

This system includes everything you need (except for the tank) if you want to do it the easy way.

If you buy a tank online make sure that somewhere locally can fill it. I have 5 stores that sell CO2 tanks in this town and only one of them actually refilled them, the others replaced the tanks with one of their own.

Is that the standard or paintball? It's the standard's description but the item says

"Red Sea CO2 Pro System (Paintball)"

make sure to check that out before you hit 'buy'.

edit: Nevermind, that's 'similer items'

I'm sure there are plenty of lpaces that will fill CO2 in NYC.. look under welding/gas supplies in the paper. Try big chains like Inweld and Praxair or as someone once mentioned to me, try calling your local firestation to find out where they get their fire extinguishers filled.
