yo yo yo, stains!

Well my water got low last year and I ignored it, and stains developed along the whole glass of the tank. no matter how hard i scratch i cant dent it. in fact, its like im not even touching it, like its IN the glass instead of on the surface.. how do i get rid of this cloudy stuff

If the tank is empty, you can use vinegar or oxyclean. If the tank is still occupied, a wet razor should work. I've found that if I keep the stained area underwater for a week or so and then scrape it comes off easier.

I had the same problem.i jsut took a razor blade and slid it along the glass,it took the crusty calcium stain right off.
