Have been cycling tank for about a week using fishless cycle.

Just introduced Java Moss.

Performed tests and found the following.
pH 8
Ammonia 0.5ppm
Nitrite 0.5ppm
Nitrate 10ppm

Following this performed a 10% water change using water conditioner. Also added bacteria to cycle.

Introduced Brine to help cycle.

Any opinions on Next Steps?

If ammonias are dropping below 0.5 I would add a small amount more (~.75 ml per 55g should do it). Let it cycle for an hour or two and test to ensure an accurate start level, but this should get you to about 4ppm in 55G tank. Then give it 24 hours and see where things sit. If all goes well you should see a 3-5pmm drop in ammonia. If not let it be -- Keeping ammonia up above .5 -1ppm.
Don't worry about water changes if cycling fishlessly (<-is that a word!). It takes a while, but it will come around.

keep your ammonia at 3 ppm. When you add and 24 hrs later, you have 0 on ammonia and nitrites, do a 90% water change, add back to 3 ppm and test again, if it is gone, you are there.
