I've read some conflicting information on what you should be testing for in a SW tank. I know if you have corals you will need more test kits and accurate ones.

Again, I am doing 30 gallon Fish only tank. I currently have pH, high pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and kH dH.

Do I need Calcium or phos or any others? Thanks again dudes.

i would probably suggest a phos kit, but it not worth getting a calc kit..you already have the ones you need mate...

The one's to use in a fish only is really Ammonia, nitrITE, nitrATE and pH...

phosphates arent really needed that much with fish only either. usually just an extra precaution. phosphates effect corals mostly. with the trained eye(which ull develop later) ull not need to test for phosphate really. im at the point where i have two lists next to eachother. one is my guess then i take the actual tests and they are very close. so if u start out with alll the tests ull be able to get a hang of ur tank and learn how to gauge it. the live rock and beautiful coralline algae though need high calcium so as long and use a salt like reef crystals u wont have to test for it. the basic tests u have are the ones u need to regulaly do.
