what size tank , here is one I designed . It is designed for a 55g w/12" overhangs that can be shortened if the fact my tank has sat on mine for 2 years doesn't give you confidence. It is made from 2x4's . it can be modified by making is bigger front to back to accomodate a 75/90 gallon.I might make the overhangs 10" though even though 12" works when applying homebuilder physics and lumber specs.( I build custom executive homes for a living). If you have any ?'s post them or if you have a diff size tank and want a design for a diff. size tank, pm. me the dimensions and I can come up with an option or 2.
the pic of the stand looks bowed due to lens effect(akward angle) the pic of the tank shows that it is indeed still level and square. the storage space is bigger inside than meets the eye, used a scrap door and had to drop the top of the opening 2"

wow, that looks pretty cool, I'll have to repost with the measurements, I know its a 29g, but I don't have the numbers!

29 gallon tanks are normally 30 X 12 inches (give or take a smidgen for the trim)
