Am I the only one creeped out by plecos?

Every time I look at one of them - common, bristlenose, green/blue/phantom, doesn't matter - I involuntarily shudder. Albinos are the worst... (pic from www.fishlore.com) Please tell me I'm not the only one who is far from considering them "cute".

I see them like Bulldogs or Shar Peis.

Undeniably homely.

But some see cuteness in homely creatures.

A personal choice really.

I don't think they're cute. I think they are interesting and helpful in the remove of alge if you have the right kind.

I find the albino ones terribly creepy... and I never cared much for the male bristlenoses, but I love my Miss Sophia (my female BN Pleco). Her natural mottled, spotted brown and tan colors are so pretty and so vivid... and to me, she really is so ugly that she is cute.

And I think the more colorful ones are easier on the eyes. The zebra or leopard frog plecos, for example.

Then again, I think my Senegal Bichir, Reptar, is adorable too... maybe it's just my pride. :P

I think my pleco is cute. He's just your regular brown pleco, but he's been around a few years and is probably 10 or so inches long. He's always swimming around, blowing me kisses through the glass. Just a good 'ol boy...never meanin' no harm...

I think plecos are the most adorable things... My BN hasnt' got a full nose of bristles maybe that's why. But if he did I think he would be just as cute.

HOWEVER seeing a HUGE Common Pleco does really seem to freak me out and make me shudder.. :dog:

I cant STAND BN plecos...
lol

I only like GN, zebra and a BABY common
