Does anyone know how big they have to be befor eyou can sex them? I had got 2 at a lfs and had thought they were clown plecos till a little while after I got them , I noticed they looked different. But yeah, about how big do they have to be before sexing? thanks!

probably at a year of age or so. smaller plecos generally mature more quickly.

see, ive looked at that, ive had mine for about... august of 06. Maybe I'll try to get pics of then, might help me lol. thanks

About two to three years before you can think about them being ready for breeding. Might be able to get there faster with extra clean water, high quality food, and low stocking.
