Hi. I just got this from LFS, and was told some kind hygro, so I did a little research - is it a giant hygro?

And this 1 I've had for 1/2 year, I think it is now suffering from the ick treatment (temp + 2tsb/g aqua salt) So can u help me id this as well...

Hygro requires mid-high light & is fast growing & hardy, right?
Thx:)

Well, it would seem that it is giant hygro, but I have never seen the second plant, so I don't know about that one.

The 2nd plant (5") is actually very similar to the 1st (18" tall) when I got it. I tighted it loosely to a piece of wood and over many months it sent out lots of roots into the gravel. I just replanted it into my 15G.
Thx fot the reply.
