Hi, everyone,I am new to the site, have read a lot of the posts and I must say it seems to be an awesome site with a lot of adds, lots of good information. I recently bought three 50/60 gallon freshwater tanks complete with everything needed to set them up immediately. I like to set up my tanks where everything is natural. Do not like the colored gravel, artificial ornaments etc.. The tanks I bought had lots of interesting things that were natural. for instance lots of lava rock, natural assorted rocks, natural pea gravel, I recently bought 100 pounds of cleaned and washed playground sand, (this was purchased on the info from the local pet storeowner) Which here in the 29 Palms area of Southern California is the only one in the area!!!
I currently have a few fancy guppies, two plecostamus, a 4 to 6 inch American bullfrog that was purchased as a tadpole this past summer, I feed it small mice, since the last time I bought $4.00 worth of large crickets, which I might add did not last one day. I also have several other tadpoles, 3, 2&1/2inch red-eared sliders. A 4 to 6 inch fat-tailed lizard. I would like to find out if anyone in this area has any convict fish to give away or for sale. I would like to have some of both black, and pink convicts I live about 20 minutes from 29 Palms area, 15 minutes from Yucca Valley Ca. I would like to have atleast two breeding pairs if possible.
