Right now im using Hikari Algae wafers which i have always used and im very satisfied with it. I've basically ran out of it and will buy another bag but before i do, im just curious if theres another brand out there that is preferred. Also, i want to supplement my shrimp/snail with possibly an addtional source of protein and calcium. I've been looking at Hikaris Crab Cuisine, is there another brand i should be looking at? thanks

I really like the Hikari algae wafers, they produce less mess than other brands I have used and keep their shape even after several hours in the tank. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. 
I like HBH algae wafers, and you can't go wrong with new life spectrum either. i'm not a big fan of hikari algae wafers, they actually put MSG in them.
