I have a very heavy planted 55G tank. I do water changes once a week about 35%. I have no gravel showing on the bottom of my tank....do I still need to clean the gravel?

well, you would have to disturb your plants in order to do that, so what i do for mine is swish the gravel vac around above the plants in order to break loose the mung, then suck it up. the plants should use any mung that's gotten into the substrate as fertilizer anyway, provided it isnt an extreme amount.

so, yes, still gravel vac the tank, just suck above the plants.
