I have some green crypts in both my 50 gallon and my 3 gallon and they both have leaves with holes in them and some leaves are turning yellow.
Why?????????????????????

What are your water peremeters? What kind of lights are on the tank? How long do you run the lights? What kind of filteration is going on these tanks? We need more information about the tanks in question so that we can help you better.

not sure about the water. low lighting can't even tell you how low, no CO2 (if that helps) regular power filter in my Eclipse 3 and sponge filter in my 50

Also, have you moved them recently? I know they HATE being moved around.

I got them 2 weeks ago and the lighting in the 3 gallon is on for about 2-3 hours and the 50 gallon is on roughly 3-4. I can't say about the watage just that it is low. I'l see if I can find something

Sounds like melt. It can take a couple of weeks to really be noticable sometimes (at least IME). But you also have next to no light for those plants. Ideally you will need to up that lighting to at least 8 hours a day. I also assume the 3 gallon is incandescent lighting, which really is adequate for plants.

Does your tank get any natural daylight at all?
