Hey Newt, you definitely need to cast a little light on the subject. I can't see it at all.

I tried too, but the pics are too big to look at. And seems to be very dark.

actually, i disabled the IE auto-sizing feature; i just hated it.

but if you can size down the images, that may help to minimize the blur a bit. any freeware image program can do this. and you can adjust the brightness/contrast also.

Hey Can you tell me what kind of light are you using for your tank?? I am planning to do a 10 gallon planted tank but the only thing which i bothering me is light and also can you tell me the exact brand name of your substrate?

Thanks

K. im using onyx sand (quite expensive but looks nice :)).. Its a 10 gallon tank.. The tip i recieved from most is get at a incandesent hood.. Normal floresent ballast wont do it.. Its only 15 watts... If you get a incandesent you can fit in 2 compact floresents at a max of 25 watts.. I recomend you that you only get the 15 watt ones since 25 is a bit overkill for a 10 gallon tank..

Yes.. I have 20W of compact fluorescent in my tank. It's still just low light though.. 25 isn't overkill if you're growing plants which demand more light.

Oh.. two of them would be overkill. ;)

You can get 20W bulbs for 4 wpg.
