Are freeze dried tubiflex worms good for adding growth to fish??? As in cichlids, I know they are almost as good as microworms to put growth on guppies, but live tubies are notorious for disease, so I want to use freeze dried for my jack and convicts.

High protien foods are generally used to increase growth. I prefer the frozen blood worms--no risk of importing a disease, and they tend to be taken more readily than the freeze dried ones, but either should help. Make sure to provide a variety of foods as well--tubifex worms won't meet all of their nutritional needs.
