we bought the last 2 that were in one tank at lfs about 4 months ago as we felt sorry for them these 2 were not at eye level as the others were the black and white ones that is. today i come home to discover that these 2 are indeed a pair, one of my plants is covered in eggs do they make good parents ?and for how long for before they hatch? and how long before they turn into carnivores and start eating their young?

Beautiful angels!!!

When mine spawn they usually do it on the uplift tubes but, I am sure you could do the same things with plants.
If you want to spend the time to raise them you could remove them and put them into a separate "hatch tank" (about 1 gal) with an air stone and Methylene blue per the directions on the bottle.. Depending on the temperature mine usually hatch within 3-5 days.
If these are younger angels they may eat them almost immediatley. After a few tries they may get the hang of parenting. I have some that never got the hang of it and I have had to raise the babies myself.

I have two pairs. First pair laid eggs on the filter intake about a month ago, eggs went into a 10 gallon. Out of the 100+ eggs now have 6 almost dime size baby fishies.

Second pair laid eggs a week later, ate them as soon as the babies were swimming. First pair laid again last week, eggs disapeared after two days.

Hopefully, they will all get the act together!

Edit to add some quick pics of the babies feeding at the BBS hatcher:
