High range PH

I have this in my Master Test Kit and am not really sure what it is testing differently from the "regular" PH test.
Can anyone explain the 2 test's.

the name says it all, no secrete message, High range ph. the normal test has a cap limit so u hav this second test to test above that limit. i use the high range cause my water, without co2 or anything, stays at about 8.2

the high range pH does what it says- goes in a higher range of pH. the high range pH also cannot go as low as the "normal range" pH test kit.

I tried the regular PH test and it came back dark blue, fast. So I tried the High Range and discovered my PH is 8.0. So if I was you I'd try the regular one and if it comes back dark blue then retest with the high range.

once you determine your pH, i'd use either the high range or the regular test depending on the results every time you test your pH.

when the ph is close to the higher side i also test with ph high just incase.
