Red sea bubble counter is making me very angry!!!!!!!

This stupid things suction cups wont stay on the side of the tank and its pissing me off! Also i thought bubble counter were supposed to get rid of that fungus crap that comes out the end of the hose.
 
Make sure that the glass is very clean where you are attaching the suction cups. I'll go over any area I'm going to stick something to with my mag-scraper, as even invisible (to the naked eye) algaes and other life on the glass can effect suction.
 
There definately shouldn't be anything coming out of the end. You're not getting any of the yeast/sugar/water mix into your line are you?
