Refugium Algae?

1st. We don't know any one else in Calgary that has salt water set ups besides LFS...
Question: How do we seed macroalgae? The current rock in our 10gallon has lots of coralline algae(purple's)but minimal macro(red?)We do add CORAL Builder with the fresh water top ups...

Any suggestions?
Most of the rock we have right now will go into the FUGE.

Also any experiences with MIRACLE MUD? It has come highly recomended from the LFS.

Unless macro algae came on some of your LR (kind of rare from most LFS I've been to), you'll have to get some from someone. What kind of macro are you looking for? Chaeto, caulurpa, other?

Coralline algae comes in a variety of colors -- purple, red, green, pink, etc.

Just googled two kinds of Macro. Halimeda and Caulerpa. We have both of those kinds on our rock, so I answered one of my ??? We will for sure be putting the rock in th fuge.

Coralline, didn't realize it came in so many colors. We have purple and red for sure, maybe yellow can't tell cause the yellow I see is right under our Leather branch...

chato is the best for refugums really. as for the mud its alright and ive been using it but when it comes time to switch it out i will use the better figi mud.
