has anyone used bitumen paint on inside of a fish pond???

I worked for a few weeks in Ft McMurray this past summer - I wouldn't use bitumen on anything that isn't destined for another planet. Nasty stuff in it's purest form. Can't offer any advice about the paint other than a concern over petroleum leaching. Bitumen itself stays malleable so I'll assume that the paint shares similar properties.

i was thinking of using the bitumen after that ill have to think again....i could use a linner but their is a overflow that would be hard to seal around, being a concrete pond.....i have used epoxy and pool paint on a old pond,but didn't work real good..what to do?????
