Will my pictus, three of them in a 55, eat cherry red shrimp i plan on adding? My background is full of crevices from lava rocks and java moss. I also have some platties and a couple corys; but i shouldn't have to worry about them right.
You can set up a 10 gallon tank for cherry shrimp relatively inexpensively. All you really need are a sponge filter, heater, and enough light to grow java moss. A new setup would probably be around $50, you might find a used 10 gallon setup for less with some luck.
