Another question about my son's danios....we've got five danios in a 15 gallon. Three are Glofish. I think they are all male, except for this one zebra who is just stuffed with eggs, you can see them right through her belly in the right light. I'm not sure we're ready for fry...first tank ever and we've only had fish in it for three weeks.

What should I expect with this? If I just ignore it, will the other fish eat the eggs and/or fry? If any fry do manage to survive, my son will freak out if they get eaten up in front of him. We've got regular old aqarium gravel in there, not marbles. If, by chance, any fry make it to swim around, what do I do with them?

I got some of them danios - the general story is they are permanently pregnant :) Mine just play chase with the males and then the eggs get layed - and we never get to see them because they are gone before you know it: chance of danio fry - 0

I thought one time the female was going to explode - but, indeed, she did not!
