Can anyone please help identify these cichlids? I bought a 55 gallon tank from someone who just handed over the fish with the tank. He just told me they were africans. I don't believe that he knew what he was talking about since i kept asking if they were mbuna but he jsut said africans. Anyhow it was his roommate's fish but i still can't figure out what kind of african cichlids they are. they seem mixed to me. Sometimes i get the feeling that they're all hybrids.. but then sometimes i think they're rainbow haps.. i dont even think they're mbuna.. but help anyone? They're all between 4 in to 6 inches.
