This heater says no adjusting needed and does not have an adjuster on it to set the temp.... I'm kinda afraid to put it in the water, fearing it may heat it too much.... Does anyone have any experience with this?

yes i have them they are pre set to around 78 degrees just to average to most fish they work very well for me but can be a pain if you wanted to put a warmer fish in there .. but are very relable.. never a bit of trouble.
