I have a 67 gallon tank that currently homes 8 neon tetra, 2 moonlight gourami, 1 common pleco and 1 neon dwarf gourami and 2 spotted marbled molly.

I would like to add some new additions to my tank but not too sure what to put in as I am not sure which fish the Gourami will nip?? I will be getting a girlfriend for the dwarf gourami soon.

Also one of my moonlight gourami has a very faint line down its side ending in a black spot, could any oone tell me if this is a sign of being either male or female?

To start with, I would take the common pleco back to the LFS. It will more than likely get to a foot long and could possibly get to be 2 feet long. Of course, it will take some time to get there, but eventually it will outgrow your tank. It "might" get too aggressive later on as well. You might want to trade it for a bristlenose or two. They dont get nearly as big.

If you have a male and a female gourami you can add one more female. I don't know about sexing gourami though, try googling it and looking at pictures.

It's usually a personal choice to add more to the schools instead of adding different kinds of fish. For this reason I'd just add more neons.

Ditto on the pleco, trade it for a bristlenose pleco if your LFS has them. Otherwise I gues just wait until it gets too big and give it away.
