fish cannot be "trained" to 'calm down' and putting fish in "time out" accomlishes absolutely nothing. they exhibit as normal behaviour as possible within the confines of a glass box ... most behaviour issues stem from that glass box being too small or too crowded. what size is your tank? what's the size of the fish involved in this triad? any other fish in the tank? do you have sufficient cover for them? etc.
