Recommend Water Test Products Please

One of you pros should make a sticky or something telling all us noobs what are good products to test our water, when to test for each parameter, etc. I for one would find it VERY useful.

I would gladly do this for you all....However, the only trouble with doing that is that there are so many different test kits, maintenance routines, opinions..Everyone is different and i think the sticky would get a little bit out of hand to be honest..

In my opinion though....

Test kits - Salifert or Aquarium Pharmaceuticals
Water testing - Whiel cycling every 3 days..When the tank is established, every 2 - 3 weeks. And test a minimum of Ammonia, NitrITE, nitrATE, pH..Additional tests are Calcium, Alkalinity and Mag..The later three are only used if you start to keep corals..

And test for Phosphates ( I am so paranoid bout phosphates!!!!)

Hey Andy...I dont think really it needs one as i only recomend Salifert or AP...And the water test question can have a massive ammount of answers..I personally think it would be too general. Its best if someone asks the direct question and they that person will get tailored answers pertaining to their indevidual setup...
