Protein skimmer

OK so i bought a prizm skimmer and i've been told that that one is a bad skimmer to use, What skimmer would u guys suggest i get?

I believe AquaC Remora skimmer is the best HOB skimmer out there, but it is quite pricing. I use this skimmer and it is excellent. You are talking about hang on back skimmers right? I am assuming this from the Prizm, cause thats the only one I heard of. Don't remember if they make the in sump skimmers.

are skimmers sold in pet sotres thatsell fish (most)?
 
My buddy just switched to a backpack (CPR) from a Coralife (what I have) and loves it.

A part of me likes the Coralife but they have given me some headaches. Both of mine had to be modified because of the numerous, and very noticable, micro-bubbles shooting into the tank. There's an entire page dedicated to that here. In fact I used that site to help do mine. They've both overflowed so it's handy to have a soda bottle to connect it to. :rolleyes:

2 days ago, one leaked where the seal's located and caused a mini-flood on my now soaking-wet carpet.

Coralife is the only skimmer I've had exerience with. It is a decent brand and pulls out a lot of gunk. I just think it has something personal against me.

aquaC is good, plus it comes in a nano size which is good for us nanoers
