New Jersey
Hi everybody. It's great to be a new member of this very informative fish forum. I hope to gain much knowledge as well as share what I have learned over the years. I currently have four tanks (downsized from six).
  • 120 gallon housing many different types of community fish ranging from plecos, a thai algae eater, rainbows, corys, tetras, neons and a beautiful Discus.
  • 90 gallon community tank with plecos, high finned pearl danios and a few other type community fish along with way tooooooooo many mystery snails. 40+ ouch! They overpopulated the tank before I added the plecos.
  • 10 gallon (where I house my baby fish)....I currently have six baby panda cories.
  • 3 gallon tank with a beautiful betta fish. This is a fish I would never be without.
I live on a NJ farm with my husband. We have horses, a pet cow, chickens, roosters, parrots, dogs, a pet rabbit and a few pet squirrels. I hope to post a few photos of my fish shortly (if I can figure out how to do it).

Happy spring everyone!

Welcome to AC!

Welcome to AC cowgirlbetsy, to the family of aquariums. On what you learn and what you can add to the knowledge from others is something we all can gain from one another. I see you have parrots, I had a yellow crested cockatoo for about 47 years and every time I would have a lady friend over, he would bite me. His name was Charlie :(

Welcome to the Fam!

Funny story O :)

What part of Jersey are you from?

I think it's funny how everyone thinks Jersey looks like the area between Newark and New York City.

There's a farm across the street from my house that have these huge beefallos running around. They're like the biggest meanest looking cows you've ever seen.

But on a hot day...they smell delicious!
