Hi,

What, if any, shrimp might be compatible with a male betta in a one gallon tank? Tank is not filtered, but I change about 1/4 of the water every 2 days and all of it once a week.

Also, what shrimp might be compatible with 3 zebra danios and 2 ADF in a 5 gallon hex tank?

Trina, I would go with Amano Shrimp. Large enough to not get eaten, and does a great job at cleaning the tank.

Thanks! Amano shrimp in with the betta or in with the zebra danios and frogs or both.

I think you mean the betta. Right?

3 zebra danios is a bit cramped in a 5G hex, they are quite hyperactive fish that would enjoy a lot of swimming room, same thing with the betta.

in any case, amanos would do very nicely with the betta. just hope your betta doesn't have an appetite for shrimp though, some do eat them and some leave them alone.
