We added our duster about 3wks ago. It's doing great but it built a second tube, just wondering what to do with its first home. I'm assuming the whole thing is attached at some point under the sand. The old one sticks out and looks ugly.

Can we cut it close to the base or do we just try and bury it under the sand?

Thanks,
Brandy

what i would do i feel the end of the tube that is buried into the sand to make sure the worm has deffo left the tube, if you dont feel the base of the worm, then remove the tube from the tank...

If you do feel the worm, leave it in there for a few days and see if it does actually come alive again..It is common for them to play dead...a self defence mechanism...

Thats about all the info i can give you on feathers, dont really know a great lot else about them....
