I must admit....I love this creation for my maintenance. I do have one question to ask. Is there anyway to keep the hose from getting dirty on the inside? It has black growth spots on the inside. I always let the water drain out and hang it up when I am done. I even let hot water run through it as well. I have even let it dry out in the sun completely straight with no water build up in it. I know it's impossible to get all the water out (moisture). My hose looks nasty. I just want a simple way to clean it without having to try to send some type of brush all the way throught it!!!!!??????

Please help?????

Black spots sounds like mildew - if that's the case, the only way I know of getting it out without using a brush would be a bleach solution or a commercial mildew remover. I'd stick with bleach because afterwards you could soak it in a bucket with dechlorinator overnight and be satisfied that the harmful stuff is neutralized, but with the commercial fungicides, there's the possibility of an invisible toxic build up.

When that happens, I mix a mild bleach/water solution in the sink. Start a siphon to the outside, and pinch off the tubing when the hose is full. Let sit for a while then drain and flush clean.

Basically,Same here.....
