Hi all. I am a new fish tank owner and am semi-clueness on how to handle the brown algae that is everywhere in the tank. The tank has cycled and the bio-filter is fine. I have stones in the bottom, a large lava rock, and some fake plants. The fish are guppies, platys, a blacktail tetra, a rainbow, and a pleco. I just added an algae eater yesterday. I siphon the tank every two weeks but I can not seem to get ahead of the algae. Any suggestions?
