I bought a sail-fin or lyre-fin bronze cory as they called it at my lfs. Its top fin is very long and its tail is very long and flowing. This fish had been in their tanks for over a month when someone put an agressive fish in with it that nipped away at its tail. I felt sorry for it so I bought it, brought it home and put it in QT. His dorsal fin hangs over his side like its dead and there is some bloody streaking at its base. (It was this way before the other fish nipped at it) It doesn't look white or rotten or anything though. This fish is very active and feeds very well but the hanging fin is a concern. I am treating it with Maracyn 2. Do you think this cory has fin rot or some other issue that makes his top fin hang lifelessly? My other lyre-fin cory's fin stands straight up and never hangs over like this one. Any opinion is appreciated.
