I find these useful: ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph, kh, gh, phosphate.. I have an iron test kit but I really don't use it anymore. The only two I use much are ph and kh. pH is used the most.

OOps.. Forgot on the brands.. I have an AP freshwater master kit. I use the Seachem for nitrate, phosphate, and iron.

The only ones I use in a plant tank is a normal range pH tester, and nitrate tester. Both are made by Hagen, it seems to be fairly accurate for me.

Ok, I have most of those except the phosphate, nitrate, & iron. What about dosing with all the additives that RTR and plantbrain etc call for? What tests would I use for those chemicals?
