well one of my LFS's had one and it wasn't feeding so i figured id try and see if it will eat in my reef since ive had luck with the sea pen and the cleaner wrasse. so i bought it, the owner only charged me $15 for it too. so here are a few bad pictures it crawled into the corner and started feeding, ill give it some phyto in a few mins and see how it goes! wish me luck on saving it!

That's really interesting Germanman- I've never seen a crinoid. I used to find the fossils all the time, as a kid. Good luck with it!

ooouch... lol
now that i ahve my deltec, ill be able to feed until they are so fat they'll breed (like my little rhyme?)
then they will breed and my sps wont kill me
my Ca levels have already dropped form so much coraline explosion as well as growth with my new halide :(
anyways, good luck with that man. there are so many things id get if i want worried about adding nutrients all the time. lol

another update! well it lost another arm due to me...it was getting to close to my nem for my comfort so i moved him but he dropped an arm so from now on i wont be touching it. it is staying in the from now and i will try to get a good picture tomorrow. on a good note it seems to be regrowing lost limbs already so it must be feeding well on the live phyto.

Bah,
I would love to go into marine bio but I live in Michigan (no oceans) and I can't scuba (medical reasons)
Those 2 things make marine bio not really worth doing for me...

sadly it didn't recover form the tank crash along with 2 feather dusters...but the corals made it and are recovering.next time i see one ill give it another try since it was feeding and even grew back arms in my care.
