im going to pick up 3 of these after my tank fishes its cycle. how big will they have to be in order to tell if they are male or female?

Around 2 to 3 inches, I think my normal bristlies were about 2 1/2 inches when I could sex them.

agreed even the smallest bristle at this size will indicate male as the females have none
oh and trop nth i thought it was ocka ?!! lol

L144 and albino bristlenose are NOT the same thing. The L144 has blue/black eyes and the albino has red eyes. i'm also pretty sure that the 144's don't have spots.

too true dr gold and i aplogise for the mistake (think i made it in a previous thread ) i actually own both types and not one to make excuses ill simply apologise for misinformation and reread my posts in future
