Okay, the marbeled pim has eaten his share of tankmates. He also LOVES algae wafers, which are $25 for 2#, on sale. So I microwaved a bunch of green seedless grapes, enough to make them squishy and sinkable, and let them cool. Dropped them in front of him, and now he's resting on his fat, swollen belly!! I really didn't think he'd go for them.

Just wait until he discovers how painful a little roughage to the GI tract can be when you've been eating nothing but meat!

Anyone else done, seen, or heard of this??

I never heard of that before, but I was pretty suprised when my friends jack dempsey sucked up a bunch of peas with vigor.

Fish never cease to amaze me ;)

There's a slight difference: JDs are supposed to get greens, and marbled pims could care less...except, apparently, for Judy's! That could be the makings of a pretty funny video for fishheads!

My ghost knife gobbles up peas by the handfull, it just depends on what your fish likes I suppose.
