yup i agree.Well Orbit is made by Current which is really Current-USA. The lighting really depends on the type of coral you would want. However, If your buying a new light for a reef you might as well go right into Metal Halides this is however IMHO. Current-USA makes a really good light. The Current Outer Orbit (Current Orbit HQI) is really the best buy for the amount of light you get again IMHO. I currently own the Current Orbit light for my 55 Gal and i have had no problems with it. I am in the process of buying the newer Current Orbit HQI.
i use to use the saltalite on my 29 and now its on my 20 works well fro most basic things i was happy with it. the fan gets loud after a year though.I have the Satellite model which is made by Current USA. Its a great light in my opinion. Only thing I don't like is the plastic mounts, have a nice aluminum light with a plastic mount. I don't understand, but I looked at the Orbit and the Coralife and they look to have plastic mounts as well so its that way across the board.
The reason I choose the satellite was due to its price and the fact that the bulbs are 420/460 and 7.5k/10k vs single wavelengths that the Coralife comes with. Plus you have more variety to choose from with as Current USA uses the square pin bulb design.
