Me and my father need some plans for a sump that will suit a 55 gallon reef tank if you guys can supply me with a nice diagram ( big enoph to read and ect) I will be overly joyed thanks ahead of time

well, I am aiming for a tank that whould be suitable for a 55g reef tank so from what was melev said a 14 Gallon whould do. As of escact dimentions put it this way i have about 45 inches of room to work with width wise and i whould gess 20 verticly.
its the actual measurements of the sump tank itself we need, so then we can advise you on sectioning the sump...

*Bump* You think i whould be able to buy one from the LFS basicly remake it and use its desighn and ect and return it?
yes, all i did was buy one off ebay, went to local glass merchants to buy some glass for the baffles, fitted them in with silicon and job done, a dirt cheap sump...

I could see looking at one at the LFS and makeing it at home, but to buy one and then return it after duplicateing it would be a really crapy thing to do. How would you like it if someone bought something from you duplicated it and then returned it after you had obligated your money elsewhere??
I think that would be a pretty low and immoral thing to do. I know I would feel like a slime ball.
Most LFS depend on every dollar they make.
