Do you think 250$ is a good deal for it? Was on a ad in the newspaper not going to buy, but might later down the raod.

Was it just the tank, what does it come with? (lighting, filter, glass top, stand...)

You might want to hear from others first but I am pretty sure you can get a much better deal.

american dollars for just the tank, its an ok deal, you may be able to find tanks 1 dollar a gallon. If its a tank and a stand then it would be a good deal

I would keep looking. And personally, if I were to purchase a 180G, it would be a 180 long (6' long). I just happen to like the longer tanks though.

Haha! I know that's true to a degree. After a certain point I think it goes out the window! Wonder what point that would be...? 400 gallon? Hmmm...

How many times have you seen a price like that for a tank that large in your area? If not very often, then that is a good deal. Most of the opinions you get here won't be the greatest... none of us know the situation in your area. Personally, if I had the money and lived where you lived, that tank would be in my house by now.

Same, well one at least, thats a bad deal if it is just the tank cause your looking to double the price if it doesnt come with any thing else

Yeah, definitely find out all info before hand. For that price the tank should at least be in great condition and cleaned out before you get it. I personally would search around a bit more if you arn't in a rush to buy. You might be able to find some nice tank/stand/light combos. Also, a good idea might be to call some LFS and see what they would sell a 180G for (in used and new condition).
